Welcome to Gyouten Clan’s first official tournament, the Gyouten Invitational!
Prize:
The grand prize winner will receive 3 characters and Diamond status in the Soul-Arena Next Generations discord, and all perks that belong with it.
Second place will receive 3 characters of their choice.
Third place will receive 2 characters of their choice.
Format:
Sets are best 2/3 matches,
Final set will be 3/5 matches, which can possibly lead us into…
<<<Lightning Round, Slayer’s Choice>>>. Winner of the final round can opt for a sudden death elimination match against either the second or third place winner, their choice. That challenger can use a single banned character. If the champion wins, they will gain 1 additional character for a total of 4 characters, Custom title: Slayer’s Axiom, and diamond status. If they lose, they only keep their 3 free characters, but lose diamond status to the challenger. This is optional.
There will also be a third place match between the two losers of the semi-finals matches to determine who gets the prize. 3/5 matches. Same rules as the rest of the tournament apply.
Rules:
You cannot repeat characters you have already used in your matches. This will reset for every new set you play.
You cannot copy your opponents team (Use 2/3 same characters) in a set.
You cannot use “full” teams. Example: No full AoE, no full drain/remove reiatsu, no full ether/affliction. Don Kanonji counts as a stunner. Uryuu Ishida counts as AoE.
If your opponent breaks a rule, a screenshot must be provided and you will be given a win for that match, not the entire set.
