Tournament of Shame #1

Welcome to a tournament as serious as my GFX here. Legendary players fighting for a prize is overrated. This new tournament should be a new way of incentivizing players to challenge the meta in wars. My banners and all reflect how much I hate my own GFX and as such,  rewards will be just as bad - nothing but pride and shame.

Warning: There will be many sets in this tournament so consider yourself warned.

• Our TOP 2 players at the end of the tournament will decide on which characters to remove in the ban list for the next tournament.
  
• And The 2 SHAMEFUL Finalists will decide on who to add in the ban list. They need all the help they can get, how sad. These characters will be added/removed next tournament.
  

Best/Worst player decides on 7 characters to remove/add on the ban list while the other two will decide on 3 characters. Let me know by posting here or in Discord.

Apart from the standard tournament format, there are a few gimmicks to this one:

• Round 1: Play everyone once (2/3). Lowest scorers continue in hell and others are safe.
  
• Round 2: Only starts after the host says so. Losers bracket same as Round 1 but 3/5 instead of 2/3. Safe players can farm for points up to 3 times each opponent (2/3 by default but can be 3/5 with both players' consent).
  
• Round 3: Only starts after the host says so. Ends automatically after Grand Loser Finals is over. Safe players same as Round 2 but with extra 2 people. You can bully someone again for 3 sets for points.
  
• In case of additional rounds, in the LOSER bracket, Round 1 is always 2/3 set, Finals is always 4/7 set, and rounds in between are 3/5 sets. SAFE players remain the same format.
  
• Bans are the same for the whole tournament.
  
• My personal schedule is more important. I don’t like disputes.
  
• 1 game win = 1 point. Winner of the set grabs bonus 1 point each for the unplayed games of the set.
  
• Dodging is inexcusable. Players will be disqualified and will be dealt with accordingly. 
  
• Unfinished sets count as 1 set if both players cannot finish it. No winner of the set means no bonus points.
  
• This post may not update right away and that’s not my fault.
  
• I can bend the rules whenever the rules are not updated or not clear enough.
  

• There will be 2 brackets: LOSER bracket, and SAFE bracket.
  
• The bans are listed at the start of the tournament and will be the same until the finals.
  
• In the LOSER bracket, you only play 1 set per opponent. You can play with SAFE players but neither players get points this way.
  
• In the SAFE bracket, all sets are 2/3 regardless of Round. You can both consent to 3/5 as well (if there’s any dispute I’ll treat it as a 2/3 set by default).
  
• In the SAFE bracket, only the first 3 sets are scored per opponent. You can bully the same person for 3 sets each round. Find another victim while waiting if you want more points.
  
• Each round will last for 72 hrs or until the current round's Loser bracket finishes. The host will announce when the next round will start. (This is only a guide and my personal schedule takes priority over this tourney).
  
• Rounds will not advance until the host posts the next round even if all Loser bracket matches are over.
  
• Round 1 is a Round Robin round (2/3 only). Everyone is a LOSER this round. You’d play everyone else in your group (only 1 set per opponent). At the end of Round 1, the 4 players with the lowest scores will advance to the next round while the others will be SAFE this tournament. Disqualified players will be penalized and thus cannot advance.
  
• Round 2 is again a Round Robin round for the sad 4 LOSERS (3/5 only). LOSERS vs LOSERS only. SAFE vs SAFE players only. In case of additional sets, LOSERS bracket from this round onwards will have 3/5 sets only. Grand Loser Finals will always be a 4/7 set.
  
• SAFE players in Round 2 can play each other in the SAFE bracket repeatedly (only the first 3 sets count each opponent this round). Ex: If Zeero won 3 sets (WWLWL) vs Laphy in the safe bracket this round, only sets 1-3 (WWL) are counted. Zeero must play other players to gain more points for this round.
  
• Round 3 is the Grand Loser Finals. Only the worst of the worst can be crowned with shame. This Grand Loser will be a SHAMEFUL VIP on their next participation. The tournament will end 72hrs after starting Round 3 or until the Grand Loser finals concludes. Any sets after Grand Loser Finals are voided. Don’t wait for my post in this round since this is the final round.
  
• SAFE players in Round 3 can play each other in the SAFE bracket repeatedly (only the first 3 sets count each opponent this round). If Zeero plays 2 sets (LL) vs Laphy in Round 2, and plays 6 sets (LLWWWL) vs Laphy in Round 3, 5 sets (LL & LLW) will be scored.
  

Follow the scoring system:

• You get 1 point for every game you win. Unplayed games in the set will all count as 1 point each for the winner of the set. (Ex. If Zeero wins 3-0, he gets 3pts + 2pts. If Zeero wins 4-1, he gets 4pts +2pt. If Zeero loses 2-3, he gets 2pts)
  
• Shameful VIP gains 1pt extra for every set they win.
  
• In case of unfinished sets, there will be no winner so only the games played will be scored. No winner, no bonus points. This still counts as 1 set for this round. (Ex. If Zeero played 4 games (WWLL) vs Laphy, Zeero gets 2pts and Laphy gets 2pts).
  
• Posting screenshots of scores here or via discord are acceptable. In case of confusing proof (rematches and violations),  please provide a text description and the final result so I don't get confused. (Ex. GGs 3-1. Game 1 rematch.)
